My name is Annica Ahlstrom, and I am the Latin teacher at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy for students from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade at the Bloomington Campus. I am thrilled to share my passion for Latin and love of learning with my students.
Outside of work, I am very involved in the spoken Latin community. In 2016, I spent my summer studying Latin in Rome with the Paideia Institute, and since then, I have participated in many Latin immersion events in the United States and Europe. I have also had the opportunity to share my love of photography by working for many Latin immersion events led by both The Paideia Institute in New York and SALVI (Septentrionale Americanum Latinitatis Vivae Institutum - The North American Institute of Living Latin Studies).

Stuffed Animals - I use stuffed animals in the classroom everyday. I am always thrilled to add to my collection however and cherish those that I get from students. If you are ever getting rid of old or unused stuffed animals, please feel free to send them my way.

Classroom Supplies and Library - If you would like to contribute to the classroom in other ways, it is very appreciated. We go through supplies quickly, and I am always creating new materials and visuals for the classroom. I am also working on expanding the classroom library.
